Instant Millet Dhokla Recipe: Healthy Gluten Free | Possible

Let’s give a healthy twist to the regular dhoklas, without taking away the taste that we love! It has mixed millet flour which is rich in protein, fibre and other nutrients, making it a super healthy alternative.

Ingredients:

● Mixed Millet Flour
● A cup of spinach
● 2-3 Chillies
● Half inch ginger
● Salt
● 2 tbsp gram flour
● Mustard seeds
● Curry leaves
● Grated coconut

Method:

● In a bowl, take 1 cup of spinach.
● Add chili, ginger, and a pinch of salt to it.
● Grind it to make a paste.
● Add gram flour to it.
● Mix it well so that it doesn’t have any lumps.
● In another bowl, take 1 cup of mixed millet flour.
● Add half a teaspoon of salt to it.
● Add the spinach mix to the flour.
● Mix it well to a dhokla batter consistency.
● Transfer the batter into a vessel.
● Pour water into the idli/dhokla maker.
● Keep a ring on it.
● Place the dhokla batter vessel on the ring.
● Steam it for 10 mins.
● Once ready, temper it with mustard seeds, chili, and curry leaves.
● Add freshly grated coconut on top.
