I’ve struggled with the question, should I count calories to lose weight for the past few years. Even though calorie counting helped me lose weight when I was younger, these past few years I relied mostly on keto and intermittent fasting to lose weight.

But once my hormones struggled with these methods, I had to seek out new weight loss for women after 40 techniques. When I searched on how to lose weight without intermittent fasting, and how to lose weight without keto, counting calories was the answer that came up.

Can I lose weight without counting calories? Of course! As I just mentioned, both intermittent fasting and keto worked in the past. But these days I realize these methods still rely on a calorie deficit in order to be effective.

So now instead of wondering how to lose weight by restricting certain food groups or hours of eating, these days I track calories to get consistent weight loss progress week after week!
