First thing’s first: PALEO IS NOT A DIET, RATHER A LIFESTYLE BY WAY OF EATING THAT OPTIMIZES OUR HEALTH TO WHAT OUR BODIES WERE MEANT TO EAT.

An ideal plate for every meal looks something like the piechart that I have posted up.

WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
It’s very simple:

Processed Foods
Refined Sugar
Bad oils and fats (vegetable oils: canola, safflower, corn, etc.)
Grains (wheat, corn, rice*, etc)
Pulses
Dairy
Soy
Alcohol (technically off-limits, but moderation at least is stressed)
.

Meat and Seafood
Eggs
Vegetables (organic)
Fruit (organic)
Nuts and Seeds (organic)
Good Fats (coconut oil, olive oil, avocados and ghee, etc.)

Ok, you now have a basic deal of information to go with paleo plating. What have you got to lose other than a few pounds and some bad eating habits?
