Kimberley Walsh puts up her Christmas decorations for her kids after admitting lockdown 2.0 is ‘more depressing’

KIMBERLEY Walsh has put up her Christmas decorations for her children after admitting that the UK’s second lockdown is “more depresing”.

Taking to her Instagram page, the 38-year-old star shared a video of her home set up like a winter wonderland.

Kimberley admitted that her tree wouldn’t be going up until December as she enjoys the smell of a real one – but she has hung stockings and set up Christmas lights.

The Girls Aloud star also covered her home in festive garlands – including on top of her dining table and around her bannisters.

There are Santa Claus ornaments on display, with the Christmassy video set to It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas.

In the post’s caption, she admitted that decorating her house had “brightened” her weekend – although she did add that her children think she’s “mad”.

She wrote: “I’m fully aware it’s early November but lockdown 2 is decidedly more depressing than the first one so here we are… no trees yet cos I have to have real ones for the smell and they’ll be done by the 1st of December .

“It seriously brightened up my weekend and although my kids think I’m mad they love it so much .

“Do whatever makes you happy right now peeps and spread the love ”

Kimberley married husband Justin in 2016, and the pair have two sons together – Bobby and Cole.

She is the latest in a long line of celebs to have put their Christmas decorations up early this year, with Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright leading the way at the weekend.

The couple blew fans away with their stunning candy cane themed front door and their huge Christmas tree in the hallway.

Peter Andre’s wife Emily also shared plans to put their tree up before three-year-old son Theo’s birthday at the end of the month.

And while Stacey Solomon hasn’t put all of her decorations up yet, she did shock boyfriend Joe Swash when she gave their bedroom a festive makeover just one day after Halloween.
